This week has been pretty good! I got sick on Thursday so that wasn’t fun but I’m better and back at it(: it was the 1st week of transfers so our district has been getting used to the new missionaries and all the changes to our zone and stuff. We got several brand new missionaries and a new zone leader. But it’s been exciting!
Also this week we had to take a day and go get my fingerprints taken for my visa! So that was different haha but now I’m officially a visa waiter! And I found out that I will get to stay here in the mission until my visa comes through(: and that could be anywhere from 1-2 months! We’re praying that it comes in before Dec. 16th so I don’t have to wait until January to go to the MTC and so I can be in Australia for the new year!! 🙂 I’m so excited! We’re thinking that after this transfer since Sister Jorgensen goes home the day before Thanskgiving, I’ll just stay here in Wylie and train the new sister on the area. But who knows with President Taylor x)
I haven’t heard much else about the Australia Sydney South Mission since I can’t really Google anything haha but I realized I know like nothing about the country, like even the weather, the seasons, do they use the metric system, or anything about it haha but I’m so excited! And so I’m open to any fun facts y’all want to find for me 😉 haha
Karen is still going strong for her baptism next month! She’s so amazing! But we’re so sad because she is moving this week!!! :/ up to McKinney so not too far but still.. we’re probably gonna have to turn her over to the stinky Elders up there… Haha I’m kidding, but I’m gonna miss her so much! We’ll still be able to teach her a few more times and will for sure be able to go to the baptism.
Our other investigator Leo came to church this week!!! It was stake conference and he only gave us a 1/2 hearted commitment, but he showed up!! And we have a family home evening with him at our Ward mission leader’s home(: it’ll be awesome! He’s so great.
