This week has been SO awesome!! I got to call my wonderful family on Wednesday with the news that my call was coming!! Only to find out that they already knew and were planning to surprise me with it Sunday night… So we ruined each other’s surprises haha. But that’s ok, because it led up to what happened yesterday!!! It was so great!! All my family came up to the mission home and we came with the lovely Solis family ❤️ and with all of us there with President and Sister Taylor I opened my mission call!!!

*drum roll please*

I have been hereby called to the AUSTRALIA SYDNEY SOUTH MISSION!!!

Ahh can you believe it!! I will report to the Provo MTC (Missionary Training Center) on December 16, 2015! So I will finish up the next transfer here in Wylie then I will come home the day before Thanksgiving for a couple weeks to prepare before I ship off to the MTC and then on to the good ‘ol Down Under!! 🐨🐠🍍🇦🇺 I’m so psyched!! This is going to be just so awesome!! And Karen is getting baptized and so I’ll be able to be here for her progression and everything and with everyone else!!! I love this work so much and I’m so incredibly happy to be here at this time and for this next transfer! Wylie is seriously the best I love the people here so much! ❤️ and I can’t wait to love the people of Australia just as much!

Other events of the week… We met with Michael and Teresa again! 🙂 and it was just incredible! I love this family so much! We taught the first half of the restoration and talked about Heavenly Father’s role in our lives. The spirit was so strong and they both were in tears and told us that they plan to come to church!! They just have to wait for Michael’s work schedule to clear up so they can come! Hopefully that’ll be next week(: but it was amazing! I’m so glad I get to stay here and help them in their progression in the gospel!

We also met with Bob again(: and it was pretty interesting though, he just isn’t progressing like we thought he was. He is still stuck on a few principles of the gospel that he says he disagrees with but he is constantly contradicting himself, so we just need to help him understand that, and help him see that these concepts and principles are more familiar to him than he thinks and he is closer than he realizes. We’ll see though(: but funny story, we were talking with Bob about how whenever President Taylor or other church leaders walk in the room we feel the spirit so much and it seems the room brightens with it. And he he pointed to Sister Jorgensen and said “that’s what I feel when SHE walks in the room!” And he goes on about how she is so amazing and if he was 55 years younger, he’d go after “that one” haha it was so funny x) he so great!

Well not much else to report, just livin’ the dream the best I can!
