Sorry about the lateness and shortness of everything.. Pday got pushed back this week because Sister Procarione had a meeting up in Mortdale yesterday and Monday was ANZAC day!!
Wow Anzac Day was really neat. For those of you who are not aware it is April 25th and it is a holiday to commemorate the soldiers and men and women who fought and/or in WWI as well as more recent wars. It is comparable to our Veteran’s Day or Memorial Day in America. But in honor of Anzac Day we sang the Australian National Anthem on Sunday for our closing hymn. Wow.. the spirit was SO strong I got goosebumps all over just like I do when I hear/sing the Star-Spangled Banner. It was amazing. It really let me recognize God’s hand in ALL countries, nations and people. You know growing up in America known as “the Promised Land” “Zion” or other amazing things, I was a bit sheltered in regards to seeing God’s handiwork in other nations too. But Anzac Day this year helped me see that yes God is there with us NO MATTER what country we belong to. And no matter what race religion or social stance, He is there for us 110% and loves us unconditionally and wants our success. And He glories in those who are brave enough to stand up and fight for what they believe in and to protect those they love and the country they live in. God bless all those who fought for freedom and bless their families who supported them too! Such spirit and power in the lives of military all over the world. I’m so grateful for the Gospel that helps me see that. <3Well y’all other than that, Liverpool is simply fabulous… although who came up with that name? A pool of liver… sounds enticing 😉 haha it came from England so it’s got to be on point.
We are teaching some fabulous people here and I’m beginning to love every single one. Elder Cowan came up here with me from Woden too! So we get to be Ward-mates again! (#Warriors!) Just trying to work hard, be obedient and see miracles! 🙂 I love this Gospel and I love being a part of it!!
Praying for you all, each and every day! (just as long as you email me back… haha jokes! 😉) stay strong in the love for the Lord and He will bless you as He has me! <3
Love yous heaps,
Sister Swan
