Hello my wonderful friends near and far!
Welcome to the 38th chapter of my little book I like to call “A Tale Of Two Missions” 🙂 You now have officially made it HALF WAY through your 18 month subscription. I hope you have enjoyed your weekly readings so far, but if for any reason you would like to discontinue your subscription from now on you may simply reply “STOP” and you will no longer receive weekly updates. If you would like to continue for the next 9 months please reply “G’DAY” and include a brief update on your life and how you are doing since your subscriber left on her mission, and your 18 month subscription will be guaranteed until February 2017. If you do not reply there is a chance your subscriber may or may not discontinue your subscription anyways 😉 Thank you & God Bless! So this week has been fantastic! 🙂 we have just started as a mission in having a new key-indicator of getting investigators and/or less-active members in the homes and it’s been going great! We had Sharon over to some of our members who are also Fijian-Indian so they got along great and we got to have a beautiful vegetarian meal! I love it when members and investigators are vegetarians <3 But it was really good to have Sharon there and we got to discuss how the Plan of Salvation and our faith causes us to change for the better and become more like our Savior. I have such a testimony of this.. I am so grateful for my Savior and His teachings that help me SO much in this life! I could never thank Him enough.
On Monday we had Zone P-Day (which is why last week’s email was so sucky haha) and we played sports at the chapel and one of the Elder’s bought us sushi cuz he he’s also lactose intolerant and knew we couldn’t have the pizza like everyone else x) so good! (I ❤🍣!!)
We also had a really spiritual experience with a member in our Ward, Sis. Sinclair! 🙂 We went over to her home for lunch and we just discussed ways of doing missionary work and how we decided to serve missions (she’s an RM) and how we can become better member missionaries. She committed herself to furthering the work by having gospel conversations and inviting others to her home to be taught(: She’s so great! And she also helped us see the beauty and powerful role of our ancestors. I shared how my Great- Grandpa helped me and paved a way for me to come out on my mission and she immediately said she felt he was watching over me so closely on my mission and how Christ-like it was of him to prepare a way for his descendants to serve missions and bring souls unto Christ. So neat! I’m so grateful for the Plan of Salvation and knowing that my loved ones who’ve gone before me are still here for me and guiding me and watching over me every step of the way(:
Look some sister’s can wear pants now!!! Dang! I’m still good with the skirts though(:
