Ok hopefully this week’s chapter finds y’all well! ๐
Not much happening here in Wattlegrove this week… our beloved Tipiwai Family have finally went their separate ways. They are a huge 3 generation, part-member, Maori family in our Ward who have all lived together in one house, (about 14 people..) and now all the individual families have moved out to 4 different houses and one even moved outside our Ward boundaries. So now we have to coordinate to visit all of them each week… haha it’ll be a challenge but we love this family so much!! We are also planning an International “Foodie” Night, a play-on-words for “footy”: Australia’s favourite religion.. much like “Grid Iron” aka American Football, the favourite religion of Texas ๐ This activity is going to be awesome and it will bring so many potential investigators, we are so excited!! I’m planning on making some caramel popcorn, soft pretzels and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies to represent America x) haha we’ll see how it goes… heck, I might just rock up in my vala faka-Tonga and kiekie and be Tongan for the night and drink my otai 😁 But I can’t wait to see what miracles come out of this(:
We also had a BBQ visit with our dear Loyola-Poblete family ๐ I love them so much!!! They are a young couple from Chile with two adorable kids who are 10 and 7. So much fun! We made dinner together and watched the Restoration DVD it was so awesome ๐ They’ll be baptised one day for sure!
Much love,
Sister Swan
