Hey y’all 🙂

This week was pretty good. Not a lot happening.. but we had two new investigators in church on Sunday! 🙂 that was exciting!! I love the work and I love this Ward!! I decided to make this email I bit more on the spiritual side rather than just a report.. sooo here ya go! Scripture of the week:

Alma 18:10 “Now when king Lamoni heard that Ammon was preparing his horses and his chariots he was more astonished, because of the faithfulness of Ammon, saying: Surely there has not been any servant among all my servants that has been so faithful as this man; for even he doth remember all my commandments to execute them.”

What are the qualities of Ammon that are described there? Faithfulness, obedience, charity, dilligence… Did you see “ASTONISHING”? Ammon was ASTONISHING in all his roles, as a prophet, a servant, a son, a brother, a friend, a missionary… How can YOU be astonishing like Ammon in your own life roles?
For those of you who are members: Remember our baptismal covenant? We promised to “stand as a witness of God at all times, in all things, and in all places”.. as such, we are all missionaries!! 🙂
So to members and those of you not of our faith alike: during this week, do something ASTONISHING for the Lord!!! Maybe invite the full-time missionaries over to your home with a Less-active or non-member and share this scripture and message with them, give someone a book of mormon, do a random act of kindness, have a conversation about God or Jesus Christ with a stranger or a friend not of your faith, forgive someone who may have hurt you, reach out to someone who is lost, invite a less-active or non-member to your home for dinner, invite someone to church or to an activity! There are SOO many ways to be ASTONISHING before the Lord! I invite y’all to do it, and share your experiences with me next week!! Will you do it??? 🙂
