Not heaps going on this week.. But we have definitely seen miracles!!
Starting with Sunday, we had 6 investigators again!! And my dear companion volunteered me to sing right before sacrament meeting haha.. so make that a whole month of having a part on the program x) That’s the blessing of Branches I suppose. But all our investigators thoroughly enjoyed the meetings and we had a great pot-luck lunch afterwards. Tania, our new investigator and her WHOLE part-member family (except her husband lol) came! It was great! Tania is not a member but her husband is the son of our 2nd counselor in the Branch Presidency. and her daughter just turned 8 and is SOO excited to get baptized.. it was so sweet.. when we were at church I caught her staring up at the Primary bulletin board and saw her older sister, Destiny’s baptismal program hanging up with the Primary baptisms of the year (Destiny was baptised in february 2016) and she grabbed my hand and said in the sweetest most sincere voice just chock full of hope and love.. “look, mine will be up there next!” it just melted my heart. Her family is so beautiful and we are so excited to work with them more and more. Tania is considering getting baptised too! please pray for her and the family 🙂
On Thursday, we had an amazing Zone Conference with President and Sister Back (: it was quite fun. I learned so much! I’m excited to implement it all into our work. And because of it, Sister Nansen and I decided to “Go Green” this week! Haha we are gonna take a step back to square one and adopt what the missionaries call the “greenie fire” (when missionaries are brand new on the mission, they get called “greenies”) we’re so excited! we can already feel the fire haha
This week we were also able to spend more time out at the Casa de la Remme! Which is always such a blast (: they got an ADORABLE new puppy named after William Tell (we call him Telly <3) he’s only 12 weeks old and already is SO big! haha his paws are so big for his little body it’s adorable.. we can’t get enough of him haha Bro. Remme (actually not a member of the church..) brought him, and their other bigger pup Leona, up to the chapel our activity night so people could meet him. It was heaps of fun. But we also got to go up and milk more of God’s creatures.. this time the victim was a sweet mama GOAT! woohoo! in case you were wondering, a goat is heaps easier to milk than a sheep haha it was pretty fun.. next on the list is a cow.. but we’re gonna have to go somewhere else for that cuz there ain’t any dairy cows around here haha..
Well that about covers it(: hope all is well! I love y’all HEAPS!
Love,
Sister Swan
