Howdy y’all 🙂
This week was one for the books(: we taught heaps and found heaps, even in the face of adversity. It was a hard week emotionally for me for obvious reasons (eg. going home in T-29 days 😩).. but regardless we found huge success in the work. We taught nearly 20 lessons this week which was a miracle for this area.. So excited! So we found a keen new investigator named Taya. She’s 1/2 Cherokee Indian.. here in Australia… what the?!?! we’re totally kindred spirits now because of our native relations 😉 haha.. nah, but she’s also 1/2 Aboriginal so she’s totally owning the indigenous thing 🙂 so neat to see so many different cultures here(: I love it! We found Taya while trying to contact a potential investigator named Sandra… come to find out, Sandra is actually a drug dealer and was recently put behind bars… #awkward hopefully God can touch her heart there and she doesn’t get mugged lol… #prayforSandra but that aside.. Taya is actually super keen and we are so excited to begin working with her(:
Also, I drove Sister Niu up Mount Panorama to see Bathurst in it’s splendor.. how beautiful is this country??? <3 While we were going up we saw a mob of HUGE as kangaroos just chilling.. so we took some photos (: it was Sister Niu’s first time seeing roos! alive anyways… hahaha so much fun(:
We had an incredible lesson with Naomi and with the Campbells I love these families and my companion is SO spiritual!! I love it(: we’ve challenged them all to come to church and start making changes to grow their faith.. so neat!
This weekend was also a beautiful baptism for Ross, Maree and Brianna 🙂 I taught them a few times up in Orange on trade-offs and they are BEAUTIFUL!! I love it(: the WHOLE family got baptised and I got the opportunity to sing at the Baptism.. I sang “Live Like You Believe” such a beautiful song for a beautiful day! I love seeing the Gospel in action <3
Love always,
