IT’S OFFICIALLY THE CHRISTMAS SEASON!! 🎄\u2603🎅🏼🎁🎶\u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n

Goodness how I love this season(: the spirit that is felt at this time of year is amazing! Even more so as a missionary! I love it! Everyone is so sweet and kind and it is so easy to share the Gospel with those around us when we invite them to listen to a simple message about Christmas(:
\nWe had our Ward Christmas parties on Saturday. 2nd Ward had their party in the morning and had a great waffle breakfast! \ud83d\ude42 Sister Stringfellow and I and our Ward Mission Leader and the Ward missionaries pretty much planned it all and it was awesome! We sang for it as well! We sang “Silent Night” and Sister Stringfellow can play the ukulele as well! So we sang “Joy to the World” with the ukulele \ud83d\ude42 I’ll try and attach a clip! The 3rd Ward had a great dinner that we helped prepare! It was all very fun!<\/p>\n

We also were able to watch the Christmas Devotional last night with our two cute investigators Apat and Nyangdeng at the Clement’s home(: Nyangdeng’s brother Yol who was baptized last year also came! (See picture below) It was so great! I love the Christmas Devotionals!! Go watch it if you haven’t seen it already!<\/p>\n

Church was AMAZING yesterday too! I always love Fast and Testimony Sundays. There is such an incredible spirit about everyone, while we fast and share our testimonies(: AND get this!!!! MICHAEL CAME TO CHURCH!! The one who’s hasn’t stepped foot in church building since he was 18 and his family are not members.. Yesterday was his first time back at church in like 33 years! How incredible is that? We were so happy to see him! His daughter Haydan came too! His wife Teresa and son Evan couldn’t make it but we’re hoping that they can come next week! ANNDDD Wesley and Meadow made it to church too!! They are a less active Father\/Daughter duo and haven’t been to church in like 2 years…. The Church is true, the Book is blue and miracles happen y’all! \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n

This past week I hit my 3 month mark!! Woohoo!! I can’t believe it’s been that long already! Sister Stringfellow and I went out to lunch and had cheesecake to celebrate! I’ve also already began approaching the “lasts” of my time here in the Texas Dallas Mission.. Such as my “last” fast and testimony meeting yesterday in the Wylie Wards.. And I know this week will bring a whole lot more. It’s hard, I feel such
\nbitter sweet feelings about leaving. I love it here in Wyile and in this mission, and don’t want to leave the people that have impacted my life so much in this short period of time. My time here has been amazing, and I don’t want it to end! But at the same time I am excited for my new adventures in Australia! It’s crazy!!! Haha but we’re down to almost a week before I leave 😱<\/p>\n

Last thing I wanted to write is my testimony of my Savior(: I am so eternally grateful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I definitely would not be who or where I am if not for Him. I am so happy and grateful for this Christmas season to remember Him and to share in the magical joy that Christmas brings! I love the giving spirit that surrounds\u00a0 this season and by focusing on the Savior and His gift to us, we can focus on the true meaning of Christmas(: In church yesterday we were challenged to think of what gift we want to give the Savior this Christmas and then actually write Him a letter and put it on the Christmas tree! I want to extend that challenge to y’all!<\/p>\n
